Description

Some more of the test with Rose from the 15th. Here in this and the following shot, I'm using a much harder flash (much like my recent Momo shots). Why the hard flash? Well I really want that "Studio 54" paparazzi look from the Late 70's/Early 80's - that or Wegee! Granted running around with a Speed Graphic is another thing entirely!

From the time I began shooting and up until around 2005 when I changed my style almost all of my imagery taken spontaneously involved at least one additional light triggered by a remote...that included many candid images...the look you are looking to achieve is reminiscent of the early 80's for sure...you mention Studio 54...very cool...I had my first one man showing of my work there in the early 80's. It was quite the place....
