There are things that I really like and just hate in this shot.

The good stuff first. I love your pose. I love the back nice and upright, I like the positions of your hands. About the only thing I would have directed would be to close the mouth and perhaps tilt the chin down just a tiny bit. Overall you did a wonderful job.

Everything I dislike is entirely photographic and production. The set should be simpler. That table with the lamp and clock needed to be removed. It completely ruins the lines of the shots and distracts from you. The downward angle of the shot makes you look a tad shorter. If shot in a manner where you were more parallel with the sensor plane you would look taller and would give your pose a lot more dynamicism. The lighting is ok, but a reflector to your right would have brought in a bit more detail while shaping the shadows even better, especially as this is shot "short" (i.e. into the shadows). Again as in the other shot from this set I critiqued I wish they had done your hair. That would have been fantastic

Overall I like this shot more because of you and the fact you definitely did your part, I just wish that the photographer took a little more time thinking about the shot.

Must agree with you, the outfit is sensual and you pull it off well. The make up is on par with the last shot I critiqued (hisladyfaide.deviantart.com/ar…). I just wish whoever did your hair in that shoot had done your hair here. The setting and outfit screams 40's pinup. Rita Hayworth (one of the greatest redheads ever) comes to mind, and you certainly could pull this off as well as her. Production value is everything.

From the technical standpoint, the lighting is a little flat for my tastes, but it is still good. I like that you are choosing better and better photographers to work with - that helps bring out your best. Outside of the hair and the slightly flat lighting this is a pretty cool shot of you. Good job, keep it up....

BTW Google Rita Hayworth. I think you should try doing a few versions of her pinup work in the 40's.

One of the best images from a production standpoint I've seen of you. From the technical standpoint this is very well executed and the post work is excellent. I love the hair and makeup, really the best I've seen done on you.

My biggest issue is the composition in that I cannot see that great looking dress on you! The clothing and accessories look very well styled, it is a shame we cannot see it and get the full impact of the very late 50's/early 60's retro glam this is. Hopefully other images of this set feature it. Overall still very well done and perhaps my favorite shot of you because of that. It really highlights and shows off the promise of the talent seen in your other shots.

So you delete a deviation. Perhaps it is old, perhaps you feel you don't want it up anywhere, perhaps it just didn't have enough cowbell. Well make sure to keep track of your image URLs, for according to the uncreative subhuman sacks of shit that really do not understand art but just diodes and lines of code while they sit in their mother's basements the following occurs;

"Hi, When you delete a deviation, the deviation's page is removed from public viewing and the files on the servers are put through a 30 day deletion queue." - Evanita W Montalvo

Really? So basically unbeknownst to your users, you are secretly keeping these files on your server for THIRTY MOTHERFUCKING DAYS before deleting them? Why can't the software YOU UNIMAGINITIVE FUCKING TECHGEEKS designed just autodelete the image files the same time the Deviation is deleted by the user? Why do you need 30 days to do this? Perhaps you fucktards are too lazy to design the system to do this? Nah couldn't be that - implementing such a change would actually be easy.

It must be because you are giving yourself 30 days so you can violate our protected intellectual property for whatever nefarious purpose you fucking asswipes come up with. Odd that it would take a very long search the first time this issue came up and nearly 90 days to resolve it on your end DA. This time I am not going to be forgiving. This time I am letting everyone know that You, a site that purports to support artists and showcasing their work, quietly and in a very shady manner holds onto your users art when they delete it.

Sure there is a less than one percent (IMHO) chance that you may be telling the truth, but more likely IMHO you are FUCKING STEALING OUR COPYRIGHTS IN SOME WAY AND MAKING MONEY WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE ON OUR COLLECTIVE ART.

Perhaps it is because you got into the most mundane and creatively void job possible - working on code.

Whatever the reason stop it. Fix the system so there is no doubt what we delete is gone and not hanging around on your server secretly for whatever BS reason.

I take pictures of beautiful women because no beautiful woman I know wishes to be with me.

I take photos of joyous moments because joy is a distant faded memory to me and has become an alien concept beyond my understanding.

I take photos of people with their friends and lovers because I have lost all of mine and stand never to gain any again.

Only my camera loves me.
